I joined McGowan Infrastructure as Managing Quantity Surveyor in August 2025, to support the group's continued growth and recent success in being awarded multiple contracts on Scottish Hydro Electric Power Distribution’s Underground Cable, Substation and Overhead Line Large, Capital Delivery Projects Framework.

I am a highly ambitious Managing QS with 12 years’ experience. I have a well-developed skill set and strong negotiating skills. I am proficient in both JCT and NEC forms of contract and am experienced in working as both a Consultant and Contractor’s QS.

My main experience is in the management of Contracts in the following sectors Energy, Commercial, Residential, Water, Light Rail, Power and Civil Engineering, taking projects from inception to final account. I pride myself on my ability to communicate effectively and build rapport as part of a team, whilst ensuring that my projects achieve their goals.

In my spare time, I enjoy various sports and attending comedy nights.
